The Marine Facilities are designed for unloading a wide range of LNG vessels, up to 264,000 CM (Q-Max).  Each berth includes an Unloading Platform, 4 LNG Loading Arms, Gangway, Fire Monitor Tower, 6 Mooring Dolphins, 4 Breasting Dolphins with fenders, Mooring Hooks, and an Integrated Berthing and Load Monitoring System.

Unloading Platform and Roadway / Pipe Way Trestles are on 54 inch concrete cylinder piles supporting precast pile caps and box beams.  Dolphin pile caps are cast in place over precast bottom slabs supported by 54 inch and 48 inch steel pipe piles.  Design concept utilizes precast segments to minimize the construction time over water.

Basin dredging included pumping 4.3M CY to the GOM shoreline to support beach erosion protection measures.  Slope design and 170,000 tons of stone slope protection was added to the scope during construction in a very successful cooperative effort with Designer, Client and Owner.
