Demolition of 900LF of existing soil filled dock supported by timber piling. Construction consisted of the installation of 1,000LF of steel sheet piling for the new seawall, H-piling at eight mooring dolphins and pipe piling supporting the dock, two breasting dolphins, walkways and fender panels to accommodate VLCC up to 150,000 DWT. A cast in place concrete cap was cast atop the sheet pile wall as well as the dock pipe pile. Precast composite concrete deck panels were used as stay in place soffit forms to support the cast in place concrete deck. Once the deck was cast, nine loading arms, a stores crane and gangway tower were erected. Breasting dolphins were constructed, one up river and one down river of the dock, to tie ships off to in addition to mooring dolphins located on-shore.
